Hey Guys, hope you are doing well amidst all that is going around in the World.

As the Title Suggests, Today we will see what is AWS, or in-fact a Cloud Computing technology, what services they provide and how so many famous startups that we know got benefits from such these Services.

WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING !!!

Cloud computing is an ideal way to deliver enterprise applications and the preferred solution for companies extending their infrastructure or launching new innovations.

Today, most businesses have the Cloud Computing approach, which simply means they extensively various Cloud services. Cloud Computing commonly refers to running workloads remotely over the internet in a commercial provider’s data center, also known as the “public cloud” model. Popular public cloud offerings — such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Salesforce’s CRM system, and Microsoft Azure, etc. — all exemplify this familiar notion of cloud computing.

When a company chooses to “move to the cloud,” it means that its IT infrastructure is stored offsite, at a data center that is maintained by the cloud computing provider. The cloud provider has the responsibility for managing the customer’s IT infrastructure, integrating applications, and developing new capabilities and functionality to keep pace with market demands.

For customers, cloud computing offers more agility, scale, and flexibility. Instead spending money and resources on legacy IT systems, customers are able to focus on more strategic tasks. Without making a large upfront investment, companies can quickly access the computing resources they need — and only pay for what they need. This is a simple solution without costing hardware costs and others.

So, here we are going to Focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and how Companies benefited from it.

Cloud computing with AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 175 fully featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers — including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies — are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.

AWS has significantly more services, and more features within those services, than any other cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. This makes it faster, easier, and more cost effective to move your existing applications to the cloud and build nearly anything you can imagine.

AWS has the most extensive global cloud infrastructure. No other cloud provider offers as many Regions with multiple Availability Zones connected by low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking. AWS has 77 Availability Zones within 24 geographic regions around the world, and has announced plans for nine more Availability Zones and three more AWS Regions in Indonesia, Japan, and Spain.

From funding to technology, AWS Founder’s Pack is essential to a startup’s growth.

Millions of customers — including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies — are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.

There are more than 1000+ Companies and Startups that are using AWS.

AWS is Trusted by Millions of Customers of All Types

It will take a long list, but to name a few Companies we have

NETFLIX
FORMULA 1
COCA COLA
ZOCDOC
SIEMENS
COINBASE
ALDO
GLOSSIER
IFLIX
CET

and many many more.

Let us see a few Case Studies of the very Known start-ups and enterprise companies that we know :

Formula 1

FORMULA 1 is a battle between the world’s best drivers, but it’s also a battle of some of the world’s most innovative engineers. Here, we see engineers and drivers that drive up to 230 MPH and take a pit stop of 2 seconds maybe less. This is why AWS is proud to be both the official cloud service and machine learning provider for FORMULA 1.

COCA COLA

The Coca-Cola Company — with more than 500 brands sold in over 207 countries — runs hundreds of marketing promotions every year. According to Michael Connor, digital marketing platform architect at Coca-Cola North America, this event triggered an internal push to move to the public cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Coca-Cola Company migrated to AWS to reduce costs and increase operational efficiencies.

ZOCDOC

By moving all in on AWS, Zocdoc has accelerated product development and can innovate faster. Zocdoc is an online healthcare scheduling service, integrating information about medical practices and doctors’ individual schedules in a central location

NETFLIX

Netflix is the world’s leading internet television network, with more than 100 million members in more than 190 countries enjoying 125 million hours of TV shows and movies each day. Netflix uses AWS for nearly all its computing and storage needs, including databases, analytics, recommendation engines, video transcoding, and more — hundreds of functions that in total use more than 100,000 server instances on AWS.

There are more Case Studies that will inspire us but as this is not much of a Technical Blog, I would like to stop here.
